JOANNES VIOLOT-GUILLEMARD

Based in Pommard, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Joannès Violot-Guillemard is part of a long family history linked to the great Burgundian terroirs.

Now run by Joannès Violot-Guillemard, who has taken over from his father Thierry, the estate cultivates around six hectares of vineyards spread across Pommard, Volnay, Beaune, Monthélie and Meursault. Cultivated organically since the late 1990s, the vines are tended with particular attention paid to soil health and the expression of each plot.

The wines, made primarily from Pinot Noir, are distinguished by their pure fruit, elegant structure and their ability to reveal a subtle, fresh and nuanced interpretation of the terroirs of the Côte de Beaune.
