Based in Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Paul Pillot is one of the most distinctive estates in the Côte de Beaune. Heir to a family of winegrowers whose history dates back to the early 20th century, the estate is now led by Thierry Pillot, who has given the wines a purer, more taut character, deeply influenced by the terroir. Across a vineyard of around thirteen hectares, spread between Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Santenay, he cultivates renowned climats such as Les Caillerets, Les Grandes Ruchottes and La Romanée.
The whites, made mainly from Chardonnay, are distinguished by their energy, their mineral precision and their length, whilst the reds offer a refined, fresh and elegant expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir.
